What is BlueMusic?
BlueMusic is a music player for Android, iOS, Wear OS, watchOS, Android Auto, CarPlay and related platform experiences. It is designed for playing music files you own or are authorized to access from your device, supported cloud storage providers or your own media servers. It also includes an online radio directory that connects you to publicly available broadcast streams.
By using BlueMusic, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.
License to Use the App
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use BlueMusic according to these Terms and the rules of the app store where you obtained it.
You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, attack, overload, bypass access controls, misuse subscriptions or use BlueMusic to infringe the rights of others.
Your Music and Responsibilities
You are responsible for the music, files, playlists, credentials, cloud accounts and media servers you use with BlueMusic. You must have the rights or permissions needed to access and play that content.
BlueMusic does not grant rights to music files, streaming catalogues or third-party content. Metadata and artwork results may depend on third-party services and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
Cloud Storage and External Services
When you connect Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Box, pCloud or another supported provider, BlueMusic uses the access you authorize to browse and play your files. Where supported, access is read-only for playback and browsing. Google Drive is available on Android only.
BlueMusic can also connect to a personal media server you run, such as Jellyfin, Plex, Emby, Navidrome or a Subsonic-compatible server. You are responsible for that server, its content and its security.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, account restrictions, rate limits or data handling by those third-party providers.
If you configure a manual media server, you are responsible for the server address, credentials and network security. Use HTTPS for remote servers whenever possible.
Library Sync and Shared Playlists
Library sync is an optional premium feature that keeps your playlists and favorites up to date across your devices through Firebase. It is not designed to store your audio files, and it does not carry your settings, edited lyrics or custom cover images.
You must sign in to use it. Keep your account credentials secure. A deleted playlist stays recoverable for 30 days and is then removed permanently.
You may also share a playlist by link. Anyone who opens the link joins it and can see and edit that playlist together with you, and every member sees the changes. Share links only with people you trust, and only share playlists you are entitled to share. You remain responsible for what you put in a shared playlist.
These features carry limits so the service stays reliable: sync covers up to 100 playlists, 500 songs in each and 4,000 favorites, and a shared playlist holds up to 10 members. A share link stops working after 30 days. They may also be limited by size and rate limits, subscription status, account checks, App Check integrity validation and fraud-prevention controls.
Subscriptions, Billing and Refunds
Subscriptions are sold through Google Play Billing or Apple In-App Purchase. Prices, taxes, renewal dates, cancellation and refund handling are managed by the store account you use.
A subscription gives access to library sync and playlist sharing while it is active. If it expires, is refunded, revoked or cannot be verified, those features may stop working; the music already on your device is not affected. Opening a shared playlist someone sent you does not require a subscription.
Do not share purchase tokens, receipts or transaction identifiers. A subscription may be linked to one BlueMusic account for abuse prevention and to keep entitlements consistent.
Availability and Changes
We aim to keep BlueMusic reliable, but features may change, pause or stop because of platform requirements, app store policy, third-party service changes, security issues or technical limitations.
We may update the app and these Terms. Continued use of BlueMusic after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
No Warranty
BlueMusic is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, perfect metadata, compatibility with every file, server, device, car system, watch or cloud provider, or that synced playlists and favorites will always be recoverable.
You should keep your own copies of important music files and data outside BlueMusic.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlueMusic will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of content, loss of profits or service interruptions arising from use of the app.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.
