A modern music player for Android and iOS that brings your whole collection together: the songs on your device, the ones in your cloud storage and the ones on your own server or NAS. Plus online radio, synced lyrics and no ads. Your local music plays with no internet connection at all.

Lossless Audio

Supported Formats

MP3, FLAC, AAC, M4A, ALAC, WAV, AIFF, OGG Vorbis and OGG Opus. Android also reads WMA from your local library.

The formats available on iOS for locally imported files are MP3, M4A, AAC, ALAC, WAV, FLAC and AIFF.

Online Radio

Radio is free and needs no account. The station list is bundled with the app, so it opens instantly.

Cloud Storage

  • Download any cloud track to listen offline, one at a time or a whole album or playlist
  • Access is read-only: BlueMusic never uploads, changes or deletes anything in your storage

Cloud playback and offline downloads are free. Google Drive is available on Android only.

Your Own Server and NAS

  • Works with Jellyfin, including Quick Connect, plus Plex, Emby, Navidrome and any Subsonic server
  • Audio is served as the original file, with no transcoding
  • Step-by-step guides built into the app for connecting each service, including from outside your home
  • HTTPS is required for public servers, so your traffic stays encrypted

User Interface

Lyrics

  • Read the lyrics inside the player, on one line, without leaving the artwork
  • Lyrics embedded in your files are used first, and anything missing is looked up online
  • Write or correct the lyrics yourself, and they are saved into the file so they travel with the song

Library

  • Songs, albums, playlists, favorites and radio, each in its own tab
  • On Android, albums follow the folders your music is already in
  • Search by title or artist, and sort your lists the way you prefer
  • Hide the songs and albums you would rather not see
  • Filter by source to show only what is on your device, in your cloud or on your server

Sync & sharing

With the optional paid subscription, your playlists and favorites are kept in your account: they stay up to date across all your devices in real time, and they come back if you change or lose your phone — just sign in. You can also share a playlist by link so several people edit it together. Your audio files are never uploaded.

Because it is a live copy and not a snapshot, deleting a playlist removes it everywhere at once. Deleted playlists stay in the trash for 30 days so you can bring them back. Sync covers up to 100 playlists, 500 songs in each and 4,000 favorites. Anyone you share a link with can open and edit that playlist without a subscription of their own.

Privacy

  • Local playback works offline
  • No account required for local music playback or for radio
  • Optional sign-in is used for library sync
  • No ads, no tracking and no user profiling. The app sends crash reports, which carry no identifier and are never linked to you
  • Your music files and settings stay on your device — with sync on, only your playlists and favorites travel, never your audio
  • Lyrics, artwork and track info are looked up only when a feature needs them, and only the song details needed to find a match are sent
  • Cloud storage providers and personal servers are optional and use the access you authorize
